Hi! I'm Jill — a designer, parent, and the creator of Incloody.

I was inspired by my three kids to start Incloody. My 4 year old sons were diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder about two years ago, and since then our family has learned a lot about how to best support our wonderful boys. They’re identical twins and completely different, proving that neurodivergence really does look different in every individual. A few things they have in common include their love of swinging, their infectious laughs, and their huge capacity to learn and grow — especially when the other people in their lives are patient, positive, and embrace a neurodiversity-affirming outlook.

My daughter has learned to advocate for her brothers' needs and find ways to engage them in play, and I'm always impressed that at 6 years old she's naturally driven to celebrate our differences and make space for everyone. An inclusive future starts with understanding and acceptance, so I strive to make designs that promote confidence in individuals and acceptance within communities.

I've been thinking about Incloody for some time now, but just recently put it out into the world. If you place an order (or even if you don't) I would love to hear your feedback so I can make Incloody as good as it can be. Thank you for supporting this little business and advocating for inclusion!

Love, Jill

What does neurodiversity affirming mean to us?

A neurodiversity affirming outlook means accepting and embracing differences. It means knowing that being different does not equate being less than. It means focusing on strengths and offering support when needed. It means accepting all forms of communication and play. And it means celebrating all kinds of minds :)
